Colours & textures

Colour is a surface, not a swatch.

Mineral finishes hold light differently to paint. The same colour shifts with texture, orientation and the hour of the day, which is why we start with a sample in your own space.

The grey collection.

Nine limewash greys, from a soft chalk white to a deep charcoal. Photographed in brushed limewash; order a sample to see each one in your own light.

Three ways a surface can read.

Texture decides how much a colour moves. Choose the character first, then narrow the colour against a sample.

Brushed

Open brushwork leaves soft movement across the wall. Colour gathers and lifts as the surface turns.

Troweled

Layered mineral plaster holds depth and a closer grain. Light reads slowly across it.

Continuous

A seamless, considered surface with minimal interruption. Specified for the substrate and exposure.

Explore it by finish.

Why we ask about your light.

Tropical interiors move between bright open shade and deep overhang. A tone that reads calm on a screen can read cooler on a shaded wall, or warmer beside timber and stone.

Send your location, the room orientation and a photo of the existing surface with your enquiry. We will confirm which colours are currently available in the finish you are considering, and what to look at next.
